Learn how to take some responsibility for yourself, for your actions. “That person did this to me and that’s why I’m this way.” No. You have your own mentality and should know the difference between right and wrong. By saying that, it’s like admitting to having no control over your own mind—to having no control over yourself. And that is truly pathetic. It’s one thing to learn from your experience and be cautious of the actions of others but it’s definitely another thing to treat someone with the pain and struggles you’ve endured from a previous person. Never blame someone for the wrongs you’ve committed against others. That person you’re blaming is just sitting there soaking up satisfaction while watching you hurt yourself and hurt others—especially those who do not deserve that kind of treatment. By staying bitter, you’re letting the person who hurt you in the first place have power over you. Who really wins? Not you, that’s obvious. Everyone you encounter has their story. No matter how good or bad your life is, it’s on you to make something out of it. Everyone has a life and what you chose to do with your life is up to you. Grow up and stop being the victim.

I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. ‘Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but he whose heart is firm and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death.
Thomas Paine
That shred of annoyance which continues to linger in the back of my mind.
When I reminisce about the early past, I get so mad. How could you, with the situation you have, be so cruel? Everything you told me was a lie. Despite what you say to make me believe it was all true, it wasn’t. Hypocrisy, web of lies, fake. I really did accept everything about you and did my best to make you happy when all along I was the one who was hurting. The thing is, even though I didn’t get an apology and you definitely don’t deserve this, I forgive you. I do understand where you’re coming from and I know you’re still working on things. I was there. I used to be you. I just handled things a little different. I really can’t blame you for ignorance. Someday, you’ll learn. The things that kills me most however, is myself. I know I shouldn’t be mad at myself but I am. With the type of person that I am, this just doesn’t happen to me. I’ve been so cautious for so long and I know my mentality well enough to just breeze through this situation but this time, it’s different. I hate it. I know my strength, my thoughts, my feelings, and the fact that it’s all tested over you, now that’s what really makes me mad. I’m supposed to be a soldier. Calm, collected, strong. I know there’s always a time to fall but this shouldn’t be one of those times. You don’t deserve it. The satisfaction will not be yours.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things that I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Amen.

- Beastie Boys: Broke the racial barrier in hip-hop and reinvented what a rappers image is while touching generations of people with their different style and flow.
- Wu-Tang Clan: Showed lyrical perfection and gave metaphorical 6th senses that still aren't 100% deciphered due to it's intensity; also basing their lives as if they were lyrical warriors fighting rappers that gave a false illusion of what hip-hop really is.
- RUN DMC: Broke the rock and rap borders lines and created a new concept to music; combining rock and rap to change music forever while converting rock-heads into hip-hop-heads for the better by being more musically diverse.
- N.W.A.: Combined rapping about street-live life and overthrowing the oppressive and racist cops that judged them based on what they looked like because of their skin color and where they grew up.
- Young Money: Continuously rap about money and execute extremely poor delivery; make metaphors that contradict itself and virtually collapse within itself, make rap about fashion more than lyrics and talent. they all fucking suck. AND THEY'RE ALL GAY AND CANT RAP
- illusive: Made emotion and music his own world through nostalgic reminiscing about being hurt emotionally by females. He made his own genre with instrumental music by adding an element of emo to it.
- yung karim: breaking bitches backs and taking all your money. swaggerd up on all frequencies. cant rap but is a kush individual.
